Do not stop taking your blood pressure, insulin or cardiac medications. You will need to sign a consent form at the procedure center for your injection. If you must cancel your appointment please call 24 hours in advance. Do Not eat or drink anything (including water/coffee) for 4 hours prior to your procedure or it will be cancelled. You can expect some of the following symptoms post-procedure: Increased low back pain for several days. To help relieve your pain during the first 1-2 days after your injection, place an ice pack on the injection site for up to 20 minutes at a time, several times a day.
