Q. What time should I arrive for my procedure?
A. Our office will tell you what time to arrive for your procedure. Typically, patients are asked to arrive 60 – 90 minutes prior to your procedure start time.
Q. What time is my procedure?
A. Your physician’s office will tell you what time your procedure is scheduled. The schedule is subject to change up until the day before your procedure. If you have not received your scheduled procedure time, please contact the physician’s office.
Q. How can I pay my bill?
A. If you have a co-pay, our billing office will contact you. Payment is due on the day of procedure, unless you have paid prior to the day of your procedure.You may also pay our bill online from our Pay your bill page under Patient Services.
Q. What is an EOB?
EOB stands for ” Explanation of Benefits”. Health insurers send an Explanation of Benefits, or EOB, to their covered members after they or other family members receive healthcare services. THIS IS NOT A BILL. If you receive an EOB, bring it into your physician’s office, and they can review it with you.
Q. What is the cost of my procedure?
Peninsula Procedure Center may or may not be contracted with your insurance company. You may be contacted by an employee of MedBridge, our billing and financial services agency, who will verify your insurance and give you an estimate of your financial responsibility. A co-pay or pre-payment may be due on or before your date of procedure. To pay with your credit card, in advance, visit our website or call (888) 282-7472. Preliminary information may also be obtained by our staff from your physician’s office at the time your surgery is scheduled.
Please note that the Peninsula Procedure Center fee does not include fees for your physician, consulting physician or laboratory work. You may receive a bill from each of these entities.
